I don't care what algore tried to say about Texas being so bad. He's upset that there's a town in Texas named Kilgore and maybe they have the right idea, hmmm?

I know several great people from Texas. I still miss Pine Cove from time to time. Dallas isn't too bad. San Antonio is okay. I even liked Plainview. I like Lubbock. I like Amarillo. I LOVE Tyler. Houston was a nice place to visit in April.

I wasn't very fond of Friona. Austin's a bunch of tsips. I've only met one Aggie I didn't like. He would be what they refer to as a 'two percenter'.

But let's face it. It's just too hot down there. If they could keep the average daily high during December under 70 in the eastern part of the state I'd be there in a heartbeat. The eastern humidity just adds to the pain. Just goes to show you can't have it all!
