WHOOP!
I know you Aggies will give me a 'whoop' for this color scheme! I worked with a bunch of Aggies at Pine Cove and they were all great. Thanks to them I picked up on the key slogans and songs. I worked with an Aggie in Dodge. He was what the Pine Cove Aggies called a 'two percenter.' No spirit. No whoop. No fight farmer fight. No gig em. No spirit of aggieland. Just a two percenter.
The only University that I have any respect for besides KSU is The University of TX A&M. Located in College Station it's not too far from Houston. There was a time when I passionately wanted to move to TX and get a Master's here (living in Dodge was a good motivator). But, there's always tomorrow!
I was there in 1996 for interviews and again in 1998 for the closing of Garth Brooks' concert tour [Thanks Linda! Whoop!]
During the visit for the concert I was privileged to be given a campus tour by one of their former students (never alumni).
I made a separate page for Kyle Field because it's a significant symbol of the Aggie spirit.
