NATURAL BRIDGE
When you take the scenic drive down 81 you will go past VMI (Virginia Military Institute) and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. Next stop is Natural Bridge. Natural Bridge is one of the 7 natural wonders of earth. And you get to see it for a measly 5 bucks! US11 runs over the top of Natural Bridge. It is a beautiful site to behold, one of wonder.
During your trip you will learn about how Jefferson purchased all of this land and protected it so that sites like this will always belong to the Government and remain open to the public domain.
