Few things fascinate engineers as much as the great unknown and space travel in particular. By touring Kennedy Space Center I tasted, albeit a nibble, of what it would be like to journey amongst the stars.

 

The Vehicle Assembly Building has more cubic feet of space within its walls than any other building on earth! The vehicle used to transport shuttles is in the foreground. More than a mile away, they are prepping a shuttle for launch.
