I love dragonballz. I started out watching the dubbed funimation on cartoon network and thought it was great. But I wondered why it always cut off at about the 53rd episode. So, thanks to the WWW I found out that it's a show that's been in manga and anime for years and years and that funi edits all the good things out of the story. So I bought some fansubs and that's what I've watched since then. I bought the freezer saga before funi dubbed it and the differences between funi and the original are significant.

At this time I have over 100 dragonballZ action figures. FINALLY I found fat buu. buu hoo hoo.

Otherwise you can tune into cartoon network (296) weekdays at 4pm to watch that crap they pass off as DBZ. Maybe someone will get 'sent to another dimension.' Too bad it's not funi. In japan it was a mature series but funi's torn it all up to appeal to the kids so they can goto BK and get their toys.  Maybe funi is george lucas in disguise? My rant doesn't begin to compare with those found on alt.fan.dragonball, however.

I've noticed that with season three they've cut back on the editing. They are showing blood, people getting blown up, etc. But still so much of the story is lost. In Japan this was a saga. One new episode came out every week. In the US under funi it's just a vehicle to sell toys.

SOME GREAT DBZ ARTWORK IS RIGHT HERE

Ebay auctions typically have a considerable amount of dbz merchandise.
The alt.fan.dragonball newsgroup will get you pointed towards the sites that are most active although it is primarily a group populated by children (middle-high school age) so don't expect too many poignant observations.

I won't go into too much detail here because others have done the work for me:

www.dbzsearch.com is a site that will take care of almost any dbz needs you need fulfilled.

Looking for full episodes? www.blackgoku.com, www.ultimatedbz.com and the best dansdbzsite.cjb.net are the best out there. They depend heavily upon xoom.com and that site has been having issues lately. At about 11mb per episode you are looking at 20-30 sec per episode on cable modem and ohhhh so sad about one hour on dialup. When xoom is up it has incredible transfer rates!
